For The Make-Up Formula Category, B. Kolormakeup & Skincare Spa Sb-Benefit Corporation Wins with Mattifix Over And Under Liquid Powder (Italy)

Jurors were impressed with this transformative liquid powder, which morphs from a liquid to leave a mattifying veil on the skin for a natural, radiant look. One panel member noted that the formula is “so [high] performing [it] could create a new make-up category.” The formula can be used as a base on its own, or over existing foundation to retouch make-up with a matte finish. Another juror noted that “this versatility allows users to seamlessly switch between two finishes with one single product, which simplifies make-up routines.” The pigments within the formulation are coated with polysaccharide, so the product blends into the skin with a uniform application and low coverage. It’s also infused with an encapsulated magnolia and willow botanical complex, which acts as a protective and anti-inflammatory shield, to prevent skin dryness and counteract premature aging. Vegan-friendly, the liquid powder is formulated with 96% natural ingredients. One panel member called it “the foundation of my dreams!”

For The Skin Care Formula Category, Cosmecca Korea Co Ltd Wins with The Pearless Radiant Boosting Serum (South Korea)

This serum creates its pearlescent glow without using traditional pearl or synthetic ingredients such as titanium dioxide (TiO2) or mica, replacing them with recrystallized, plant-derived fatty acids. One juror liked how this “makes [the product] a sustainable, versatile solution that can enhance radiance claims across various skin care products.” Another described the plant-based pearlescent innovation as “excellent.” As the plant-derived fatty acids cool and form random crystal structures during formulation, they reflect light, resulting in a formula that imparts a natural, radiant finish to skin. Added to this, a solubilization technology means the formula is fully absorbed into the skin for a smooth, radiant finish. The panel liked that after use, the skin doesn’t look “very shiny,” noting that the product imparts “a beautiful, natural glow.”

For The Packaging Design & Materials Category, Ctkclip Wins with Eco Slide Jar (South Korea)

Jurors noted that this jar - composed of 100% PET resin material, which reduces plastic use by 40% to 50% compared to the brand’s existing products - represents a “push toward refill solutions that have [a] lower environmental impact.” The word “slide” in the product name refers to how the inner pot containing the cream slides into a larger box structure, making the refilling process easy and intuitive for the end consumer. The panel liked this sliding mechanism, alongside the concept’s customizable inner and outer materials and optional applicator, which they said made it “highly convenient [and] personalized.” Others pronounced the Eco Slide Jar a “very slick design, customizable, and refillable. Overall, very good.”

For The Innovative Technology Category, Tekho Marine Biotech Co Ltd Wins with【TPF 2.0 Version】Totipotent Prostembryona Factor® Lyophilized Powder Ampoule (Taiwan Region)

Calling this active ingredient  “a game-changer in efficacy and claims,” jurors singled out its “amazing patents and incredibly innovative technology.” The active ingredient - Totipotent Prostembryona Factor® – is derived from embryonic stem cells from the fertilized roes of deep-sea fish, via multiple low-temperature patented extraction processes. The fertilized roe is extracted without having to kill any female fish, which impressed the panel. Within the ingredients are natural complex peptides – including exosomes, growth factors, and cytokines – and it has obtained its own INCI name and patents in the U.S., Japan, and the Taiwan region. There are several versions of the ingredient for different applications: TPF -TPF-H01, which can be used as a functional dressing to promote the healing of burns, scalds, and skin wounds; TPF-EX05, a raw material for functional cosmetics and hair health, to moisturize, brighten, delay skin aging, and promote hair growth and hair density; and TPF-101, a functional food ingredient, which can increase the concentration of IGF-1, or insulin-like growth factor in the blood, and reduce the concentration of ACE, or angiotensin-converting enzyme, said to delay aging. The panel liked that this ingredient could bring “innovation” to beauty products and noted that “mixing medicine products with cosmetics is always welcome.”

For The Sustainability Category, Tair Jiuh Enterprise Co Ltd Wins with Double Sphere Multi-Use Plant-Based Color Makeup Stick (Taiwan Region)

The fact that this make-up stick replaces synthetic colors with those derived from major superfoods - beetroot, radish, purple yam, spirulina, and turmeric - won plaudits from the panel. “I think the idea and execution of the color vibrancy and performance is unbelievable and really innovative to achieve through natural ingredients,” said one juror. From these ingredients, the brand has created 150 shades, which all match the vibrance of synthetic colors. The combination of superfood juices, plant waxes and oils, and natural antioxidants provides anti-aging and antibacterial benefits in the stick. The stick itself is composed of two “spheres” of solid make-up – which could be customized to be lipstick, eye, or cheek color – to provide an ergonomic application. Among the product’s further sustainability credentials, the formula is composed of 100% COSMOS-certified ingredients; is free of synthetic preservatives, parabens, and petroleum-based ingredients; and is made with RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil. The stick is presented in eco-friendly, mono-material, recyclable PET packaging. Additionally, its formula is produced using a low-temperature molding process – which one juror described as a ”breakthrough” - which reduces carbon footprint and shortens production time by 25%.

For The Hair Products Category, Beaute Mediterranea / DSD De Luxe Wins with 9.4 Aminopyrrole Lotion + Melatonin (Spain)

Pronouncing treating hair loss “such a trending category,” jurors appreciated how this product employs “new technologies to offer a solution to [hair loss.]” The lotion’s key ingredients are aminopyrrole and melatonin, which work to prevent hair loss and promote new hair growth. Employing nanotechnology, the active ingredient aminopyrrole is encapsulated in liposomes for targeted release into the hair follicles. This rejuvenates follicles, stimulates new hair growth, and strengthens existing hair. “This system improves efficacy by releasing ingredients directly where they are needed, combined with a unique formula,” noted one juror. Melatonin, meanwhile, acts as an antioxidant, stimulating hair growth while protecting the follicle from oxidative damage, prolonging the active growth phase and slowing hair aging. And niacinamide hydrates and regulates sebaceous gland activity to maintain the scalp’s balance and foster a healthy hair environment. “Transferring the active ingredients through liposomes using nanotechnology is a great idea in [a] hair care product,” said one panel member. Another liked the single-dose package, creating the feeling that the ingredients are ”fresh and activated,”  alongside the product’s “light” texture. In clinical studies, the product showed a 31.71% reduction in hair loss after 28 days of use, improving to 71.36% after 56 days, while hair diameter increased by 0.87% after 28 days and by 2.71% after 56 days.

For The Home & Professional Devices And Tools Category, Aram Huvis Co Ltd Wins with AISG (South Korea)

The panel described this AI-powered scalp diagnostic system as “the next frontier in innovation.” Using big data, the machine assesses scalp conditions and recommends customized shampoos and serums to ensure targeted care. To develop the AI scalp analysis system, the company worked closely with professors at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital to collect 100,000 data points, analyzing and classifying each image. In total, the company identified 10 scalp conditions: good, dry, oily, sensitive, atopic, seborrheic, troubled, dry-dandruff, oily-dandruff, and hair loss. Following the analysis, the AI system suggests customized shampoo and serum formulas tailored to the scalp condition. Jurors noted that the device is “a great tech tool to identify skin scalp needs and help to improve [scalp] health,” and that it is innovative for its “AI-driven, real-time scalp analysis that personalizes shampoo and serum formulations to target specific conditions like dryness and hair loss.” Another juror noted that as “the scalp care market is really taking off…it's great to see the benefits of AI being used to diagnose these common conditions to ensure the correct treatment.” The device is positioned for professionals in salons, dermatology clinics, and wellness centers looking to enhance their scalp treatment services.

For the Personal Care & Body Care Products Category, Konxept Ltd Wins with LadiM Graphene Sanitary Napkin (Medium) 24.5cm (12pcs) (Hong Kong SAR, China)

Jurors noted that these sanitary pads, which are infused with probiotics to kill 99.9% of Candida bacteria - the main cause of vaginal infections - allow “women to make a proactive choice for [their] long-term well-being.” The pads are made with the brand’s patented graphene probiotic filter chip as one of their layers, which creates a protective barrier against germs and promotes a healthy vaginal flora. The chip also delivers a warm sensation to alleviate menstrual pain, while negative ions purify and soothe. Meanwhile Taxus chinensis and chitosan combat odors, while nano silver creates an antibacterial, breathable material. “I think they've thought about the product from the user perspective a lot, it provides multiple benefits to the consumer,” one panel member said. The pads absorb up to 60 times more than regular menstrual pads, and are suitable for all women, including those experiencing perimenopause, when hormonal changes can make infections more common.

For The Green & Organic Category, Arganour Wins with Porcelain - Anti-Pigment Spot Serum (Spain)

With an entirely natural origin formula, this anti-pigmentation serum acts on acne marks, sun spots, hormonal spots, melasma, and age spots. One juror called it a “game-changer” that an “effective anti-pigmentation serum…is highly naturally derived.” Using depigmenting biotechnology, the formula both corrects and prevents hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation and evens out uneven skin tone after 56 days of use. “[I] love that there is a natural alternative to pigmentation serums as it's such a hard skin concern to address and overcome,” said another juror. The serum’s ingredients include Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Monarda didyma callus extract, plankton extract, lecithin, and Magnolia officinalis bark extract. In tests, 86% of subjects noticed a reduction in the size and intensity of blemishes, while 91% observed improvements in skin tone and texture, and 82% saw a de-pigmenting action. For The Skin Care Products Category, Firstmarket Co Ltd Wins with Kocostar Yellow Cream Patch (South Korea)

The panel liked that this cream-to-patch blemish formula “combines both the convenience of dabbing on a cream, and the protection and effectiveness of a patch.” “I also like how this can be used under make-up, allowing people to cover up an active blemish with [fewer visible] ramifications,” said one juror. The formula forms a thin, breathable barrier that delivers the blemish-clearing ingredients when applied to the skin. The “patch” effect is created with a patented marine cellulose that forms the film on the skin. The biofilm is flexible and breathable and made from naturally derived cellulose, a material commonly used in medical applications to protect wounds from contaminants and promote an optimal healing environment. “This product seems to be a great alternative to pimple patches for anyone looking for an effective and skin-friendly way to manage their breakouts,” noted the panel. Among the formula’s healing ingredients are betaine salicylate, capryloyl salicylic acid, sulfur, niacinamide, tea tree leaf extract, and seaberry oil. The formula can be applied before make-up and worn throughout the day. “Very innovative, love that it turns from a cream to a patch - I can see this being very popular,” said one juror.

For The Make-Up Products Category, Taeyang Renew Inc Wins with Air Fixing Mascara (South Korea)

That this product – designed with an air-tight chamber, so the mascara maintains its freshness -  improves the “longevity” and “consistency” of mascara was appreciated by the jury. One panel member liked that it addresses the issue of  “mascara…drying out and clumping over time,” adding that “mascara is one of the categories where innovation is sorely needed to solve the many pain points, yet there is too little. On top of that, the packaging is environmentally conscious in its design,” they said. The packaging is crafted from eco-friendly polyketone plastic, to reduce carbon emissions. When the cap is unscrewed, the mascara applicator “pops” out of the tube, evenly coated with a precise amount of mascara, without the user having to wipe it or manually adjust the coating. This ensures a clump-free application with each use. The tube is crafted so that the airtight chamber remains sealed during use, preventing air from entering and ensuring that the mascara formula stays fresh, without hardening or deteriorating. The applicator is stored separately from the liquid, preserving the formula’s integrity. “Great innovation, definitely a first in the mascara world. Lovely formula,” commented one juror.
