One of the excellence Italy exports to the rest of the world include cosmetics: over 67% of the makeup used in Europe is manufactured by Italian companies, which also supply as much as 55% of global consumption. Promoting the quality, creativity and innovation of Italian products is fundamental as our industry prepares for a new beginning on the international scene.
That is why Cosmoprof chose to bring its 50 years of service as an ambassador for the Made in Italy brand to the Italian Cosmetics Days in Kuwait, promoted and organized by the Italian Embassy in Kuwait and Cosmetica Italia - personal care association.
From 19th to 23rd December, the social media profiles of the Embassy shared information about the value of Italian cosmetics with followers in Kuwait, a growing market in the Gulf area that has always been aware of the quality of Italian products. Content included a pleasant virtual coffee break with the Ambassador in Kuwait, His Excellency Carlo Baldocci, and the General Manager of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, Enrico Zannini, who jointly outlined the role of the Cosmoprof format as an essential business partner for companies in our country. Two local influencers, Mona Alenizi and Mohamed Al-Amer, also participated in the Italian Cosmetics Days sharing about some of the products that represent our industry, provided by Framesi, Kiko Milano, Salvatore Ferragamo and Sifarma.
The initiative was a success with audience in Kuwait and set a solid foundation for upcoming projects, as Cosmoprof and Cosmetica Italia continue to promote Italian products in the Gulf area over the course of 2021.
