For Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, corporate responsibility integrates a fundamental and essential company value, which goes beyond simple business. Respect, well-being, and equality drive our initiatives and projects intending to create value and a positive impact, from the exhibition world to the cosmetics industry.
Cosmoprof is committed to enhancing the economic, environmental, and social sustainability themes. Its training programs, panel discussions, and all the insights organized at the fair drive best practices, research and development initiatives, challenges as well as opportunities related to the ecological transition.
Cosmoprof’s commitment to society translates into collaborations and solidarity initiatives supporting the community by participating in international, national, and local non-profit projects. There are many initiatives in which we want to generate value over time, such as AGEOP, Fondazione Sant'Orsola, Komen, La Forza e il Sorriso, Reuse with Love.
Corporate sustainability means implementing behaviors and strategies to improve the well-being of stakeholders. In particular, in relation to its employees, Cosmoprof implements company policies paying attention to workers' rights, welfare benefits, equality and inclusion, creating a positive and transparent environment.
BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, in alignment with the strategic guidance of the BolognaFiere Group, is actively pursuing certification in gender equality. This initiative underscores the organization’s longstanding commitment to addressing the needs of its employees while fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. Furthermore, BolognaFiere Cosmoprof has implemented dedicated procedures for managing maternity and paternity leave, along with measures designed to promote a healthy work-life balance for its staff.
At each edition, Cosmoprof searches for solutions to minimize the impact on the Planet: from the reduction of printed materials and the support of digitalization to the use of renewable energy and innovative technologies, up to selecting suppliers and partners that marry the same values and environmental objectives.
Cosmoprof promotes initiatives in support of sustainable mobility during the entire development process of the fair, encouraging the use of electric and hybrid means of transport, car-sharing, public transport and bicycles, as well as organizing during the event collective coaches.
The BolognaFiere Group pays particular attention to environmental and social sustainability issues, obtaining in 2019 the UNI EN ISO 14001 certification for the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS). In addition to a constant renewal of the energy and sustainable performance of the fairgrounds, BolognaFiere has established a series of processes and interactions to protect the well-being and safeguard the health and safety of its workers.
For the setting up of stands and special areas in Bologna and the network fairs, BolognaFiere Cosmoprof embraces the philosophy promoted by Henoto. Thanks to exclusive modular technology, Cover-Up, and the materials adopted, each element can be transported more flexibly thanks to its lightness and, at the end of its cycle, can be transformed and reused repeatedly, reducing waste and promoting circularity.
Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna supports Green companies and brands, giving visibility to organic, cruelty-free, vegan, and eco-sustainable brands and products that embody change and alternative development models, aiming at collective commitment, to circularity and innovation.
We are always ready to explore new proposals with a focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility. Do you have a project or are engaged in nonprofit activities that you think would be in tune with our values?
